Trio Mio

Trio Mio, whose real name is TJ Mario Kasela also known as T.J (Thank you Jesus) or "Mkurugenzi wa Jiji" is a young talented artist from Nairobi, Embakasi area, Kenya.

Triomio was born in 2004 (16 years).He is Kenya's youngest gengetone rapper at only 16 years (Still in school in Form 2).

Trio Mio debuted into the music scene in May 2020 during the Corona pandemic (Lockdown). He released his first song on Youtube "Bazeng (Vile Inafaa)" on 31st May 2020 and his first EP "Son of The City" on 28th November 2020.

His breakthrough song "Cheza Kama Wewe" went viral on Tiktok and other social media platforms gaining massive following and discovery. Trio Mio biggest collabo "Cheza Kama Wewe Remix" released on 22nd November 2020 featuring Mejja, Exray (Boondocks Gang), Nelly the Goon (Ochungulo Family) has attracted over 2M views upward on Youtube only.

His first ever performance was at Citizen TV - 10 Over 10 and The Nai Fest. Trio Mio has been endorsed by Khaligraph Jones, Otile Brown, Sauti Sol, Mejja and many more.

Trio Mio Mum is also happy with his music. He is currently being managed by his mother - Irma Sofia Sakwa (@irmasakwa) after falling out with former manager Wilkings Studios Agency (Wilkins Fadhili) after alledged fraud.

Trio Mio is signed under his family record label Trouble Music along his brother BigTing Ap, Aj Baracudda and Tunu Trouble. Trio Mio is one of the fastest rising Gengetone rapper in 2021.
