However, in the 70's, 80's and early 90's there was a very famous flamboyant choir-conductor and Headmaster in Bunyala Kakamega called Mwalimu Mayende, then there was Kuuka Wakhanu at Navakholo (who used to play ETUUNGU) and they both used to call this dance ... ESIKAANGALDIKA!
